Report: Acron may sell off stake in Grupa Azoty to Polish fund
WARSAW, Oct 4 (PRIME) -- Russia’s fertilizer producer Acron may sell its shareholding in Poland-based chemicals producer Grupa Azoty to the Polish Development Fund, Nasz Dziennik daily reported on Wednesday.
The newspaper said that the transaction is valued at around 1.5 billion Polish zloty, or U.S. $410 billion.
The move is connected with Acron’s inability to acquire a controlling stake, as Grupa Azoty is among the companies indicated as strategic by the state. The Polish Development Fund has declined to comment.
